- 4 modules of 30 hours each, can be completed over 3 years
- A professionally recognised qualification - 40 SCQF credits at Level 7
- 4 elements: Skills, Knowledge, Self-Awareness, Ethics
- Experiential learning approach - working in groups of 3
- Helps develop skills that can be transferred into non-counselling settings
- Delivered by highly trained tutors who are experienced counsellors
- First step towards Scottish Marriage Care's Diploma in Relationship Counselling starting November 2008
